The BD^® Plastipak™ Catheter Tip Sterile Syringe is a plastic, graduated, sterile, individually wrapped syringe for general use.

The catheter tip syringe goes by a number of different names in different medical settings, like a ‘Dosing Syringe’ in veterinary care, a ‘Bladder Syringe’ for precise bladder irrigation via catheters, and a ‘Wound Syringe’ for effective wound irrigation in general medicine.

BD Plastipak™ Syringes have a latex free stopper which eliminates completely the risk of allergic reactions to latex and a special silicone lubrication ensures that the plunger moves smoothly and evenly.

The syringe has a retaining ring that prevents accidental plunger rod withdrawal.

The Plastipak 50ml syringe is individually wrapped in a peel pouch blister film and medical grade paper.

This Plastipak single use 50ml syringe has a large central catheter tip especially suitable for drawing viscous fluids and large quantities.
